Georgia Northwestern Technical College student Nancy Johnson, a resident of Tunnel Hill, placed seventh in Foundations of Entrepreneurship at the Future Business Leaders of America Collegiate National Leadership Conference held June 24-27 in Orlando.

Five GNTC students competed in a total of eight competitions at the national FBLA competition. To be eligible to compete in the national competition, the students qualified at the state competition, where students from the 22 colleges in the Technical College System of Georgia gathered for leadership development sessions, as well as performance-based and written competitions. The state contest was held in March in Atlanta.
