A Summerville man was arrested and is accused of entering a storage unit on Walenda Drive in Armuchee twice.
According to an arrest warrant and Floyd County Jail records:
Forty-three-year-old Dusty Allen Blackmon cut the lock and removed items from the unit on May 9.
He then returned on May 10 and entered the storage unit a second time.
In both instances, Blackmon placed the items in a co-defendant’s SUV and left the area.
The value of the property was listed at $2,666.96.
Blackmon is charged with two counts of 2nd-degree burglary and theft by taking.
