A forty-eight-year-old man caught the attention of a Chattooga County Deputy in the early morning hours of July 26th coming over Taylor’s Ridge on Highway 27.  A deputy noticed the vehicle the man was driving was erratic and the deputy performed a traffic stop.  The deputy suspected that John Jesse Fain was under the influence of alcohol.   Fain admitted to the deputy that he had consumed “2-3 beers” when questioned.  Fain failed several field sobriety tests and refused a blood alcohol test.  Fain was arrested for DUI for alcohol and failure to maintain a single lane and was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
