Chattooga County School Supt. Michelle Helie wants to remind parents and guardians of Chattooga County School students that there will be early release from school next Thursday and Friday in conjunction with the Chattooga County Agricultural Fair.  You can read Supt. Helie’s statement below:

Attention Students, Parents, and Staff:

We want to inform you that all Chattooga County Schools will be released early on August 22 and 23 to allow for traffic clearance from Summerville Middle School in preparation for the Chattooga County Fair events.

Details:

• Early Release Time: 1:30 PM
• Lunch: Lunch will be served as usual before dismissal.
• After-School Activities: All after-school activities and programs will continue as scheduled.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Please make arrangements to ensure car riders are picked up promptly at the early dismissal time. This is important for everyone’s safety.
