Floyd County Superior Court Judge Kay Ann King has denied bond for the “ringleader” of a brutal police attack of a convicted child molester.

According to reports Hannah Daniell Rittweger was recorded talking about making contact with the son of the victim.

Reports said that Rittweger was a member of the same church as Christopher Matthew Codding, who was a youth pastor at the time he molested two young boys.

Floyd County Assistant District Attorney Morgan Bottger said that all of the other defendants in the case have been cooperating with the investigation and that they were all offered bond.

The GBI reported that Codding was going to be transported to state prison after being sentenced to 19 years in prison in May.

Rittweger allegedly orchestrated the attack that saw Joshua Lee Riddle viciously beat and threatened to kill Codding while being transported.

GDOC officers Donna Michelle Pettyjohn and Billy Joe Lingerfelt are accused of being lookouts during the attack.

Fromer Floyd County Sheriff’s Office employee Logan Eugene Nelson allegedly tired to hide the attack before reporting it to a supervisor.

Riddle was granted a $50,000 bond while Pettyjohn and Nelson received a $20,000 bond and Lingerfelt was given a $25,000 bond.
