The Town of Lyerly has announced the date for this year’s Down Home Day. Lyerly Down Home Day is a free event open to anyone in the surrounding area. Attendees will be able to shop with arts and crafts vendors from all over the Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama area and there will be plenty of food vendors as well. There will be bingo, pony rides, hayrides and an apple pie eating contest. The event will take place on the last Saturday of the month from 10 AM – 2 PM at Angus McLeod Park in Lyerly.
