Last week, a deputy was called to a domestic incident on Booker Road in Summerville.  When the deputy arrived on the scene and assessed the situation, he determined that the woman who was the main cause of the disturbance had left the scene.  A short time later, the deputy saw the highly intoxicated woman walking around Fish Hatchery Road.  The deputy feared for the woman’s safety, as she was unable to walk due to her state of inebriation.  When the deputy questioned the woman, she said that she was walking to her son’s house.  The deputy asked if the woman could call her son to come get her as she was in no state to be walking along the road.  The woman handed her phone to the deputy and told the deputy to call her son.  While the deputy was trying to help the woman, the woman began yelling and using profanity.  Forty-two-year-old Heather Nicole McCool was arrested and booked into the Chattooga County Jail on charges of public intoxication.
