
A Centre, Alabama man was apprehended on Rooney Road after reportedly fleeing from police over the weekend.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
An officer attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 66-year-old Robert Wayne King for using the wrong tag.
King refused to stop, plowing through two stop signs and traveling 60 in a 25-mile-per-hour zone.
He then got out of the vehicle and fled on foot before being caught by a K9 unit.
King was then found with methamphetamine.
He is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude, possession of meth, concealing the identity of a vehicle, and a couple of stop sign violations.
