Chattooga Family Connection\ has announced the annual “Home for the Holidays” Thanksgiving food distribution event. At the heart of this initiative are the donations of turkeys, canned goods, and other non-perishable items, all of which they plan to collected and distributed to approximately 300 families. The demand for this support has been steadily growing, with turkeys consistently being the most sought-after item. To meet this heightened need, the organizers have issued a call for turkey and monetary donations from the community. Through the generosity of the Chattooga County residents and businesses, the organizers want to surpass their goals with at Turkey Drive to be held now through November 18th, ensuring that every household that needs a Turkey will have one for Thanksgiving.
