A DeKalb County Republican Party lawsuit claiming Georgia’s voting system was compromised due to the public disclosure of security features and computer code was dismissed by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee. Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger certified the Dominion voting system as safe before its use in 2020, following state law. Raffensperger defended the security of voting machines, stating that hacking vulnerabilities couldn’t be exploited in reality. The judge emphasized that concerns about election security should be addressed by policymakers. DeKalb Republican Party Chair expressed disappointment with the decision, emphasizing the importance of election integrity.
