Last Friday, the Chattooga Young Farmers made a significant delivery to Broxton, Georgia, as part of their ongoing efforts to support farmers and rural residents in South Georgia. This initiative is aimed at addressing the needs of local communities affected by recent hardships.
Members of the Chattooga Young Farmers loaded up essential supplies and delivered them to Coffee County, where they were met with gratitude from residents and local farmers in need. The Young Farmers organization, known for its commitment to agricultural advocacy and community service, is continuing to collect more essential items this week, ensuring that more supplies are gathered for another delivery slated for this weekend.
Young Farmer Director Lauren Jarrett told WZQZ News over the weekend that local Young Farmers are considering other ways that they may be able to help out farmers in the impacted areas of the state.
