The GNTC Foundation recently held the EMPOWER Scholarship Fundraiser and Awards Brunch to raise funds and honor donors. The event, hosted at the Gordon County Campus in Calhoun, recognized various sponsors who support GNTC’s mission in northwest Georgia. Lauretta Hannon, GNTC’s Executive Director of Institutional Advancement, highlighted the essential role of donors in assisting 384 students over the past year with a total investment of $141,000.

Notable sponsors included Mohawk Industries as the Platinum Sponsor, with workforce sponsors like AdventHealth and Shaw Industries Group. The Legacy Award was given to the Ron Adam Family and Randall Fox for their loyal giving, while the Power of Partnership Award went to Atrium Health Floyd, Georgia Power, and Mohawk Industries Inc. President’s Circle awards were also presented to numerous individuals and organizations for their contributions to GNTC.
