The Summerville Depot and East Washington streetscape will become a “Winter Wonderland” today from 10:00 a. m. to 3:00 p. m. , featuring over 44 craft and food vendors for the Christmas shopping season and Small Business Saturday. The public can enjoy shopping, dining, children’s activities, and visits with Santa.

Children can participate in free storytelling and crafts, sponsored by The Friends Of The Library, from 10:00 a. m. to 2:00 p. m. inside the Depot. Santa will be available for visits from 11:00 a. m. to 2:00 p. m. , and visitors can take photos with Victorian era characters until 3:00 p. m.

Participants can collect a map/passport at the Depot and visit local businesses to complete it from November 30 to December 4, with no purchase necessary. Completed passports should be turned in by 5:00 p. m. on December 4 for a chance to win a $100 Grand Prize. The drawing will occur on December 5 during Summerville’s Christmas In The Park. Summerville Main Street encourages everyone to support local businesses during and after the event.
