AdventHealth Redmond has announced the recipients of the prestigious 2024 EMS Service Awards, celebrating the exemplary dedication and outstanding contributions of emergency medical services (EMS) professionals across various districts. This year’s awards commend the unwavering commitment to excellence and heroic efforts displayed by team members in their mission to serve the Northwest Georgia community.

The awards recognize a range of categories highlighting individual and team achievements in the field. Notably, the EMT of the Year award was presented to Cassie Gravitt for District 1 (Rome/Floyd County) and Karly Allen for District 2 (Polk County). For the title of Paramedic of the Year, Captain Daniel Smith from District 1 and Savannah Calhoun from District 2 were honored for their exceptional service. In a celebration of leadership, Lieutenant Dan Proctor from District 1 and Captain Kody Hill from District 2 received the Leadership Award, while Jennifer Logan was named Employee of the Year for District 1. The Directors Award was presented to Andy Campbell, highlighting his significant contributions to the EMS team. The awards ceremony also recognized exceptional responses to critical calls. The Trauma Call of the Year for District 2 was awarded to David Goodrich, Chad Womack, Lindsey Hall, and Savannah Calhoun, while Haley Copeland earned accolades for the Medical and Pediatric Call of the Year in District 1. In addition, the Cardiac Call of the Year recognized the efforts of Ethan Shaw and Scott Ross from District 1, with Kaylee Goode earning the honors for District 2.
