Millions of cans of coconut water are being recalled in the U. S. , including in Georgia. The FDA has an ongoing recall for 12 can cartons of Jarritos coconut water. About 169,438 cases (2,033,256 cans) are recalled across 29 states like Georgia, Florida, Texas, and Ohio. The FDA warns the seal on the lids may be compromised, which could lead to harmful bacteria. No illnesses have been reported, but the recall is a precaution.
