
Voters in Chattooga County will soon have the opportunity to make their voices heard as they prepare to head back to the polls in March for a crucial Special Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) renewal vote. The election is set for March 18, 2025, and residents are encouraged to actively participate in this important decision.
In a public notice issued by Patricia Brison, Chair of the Board of Elections and Registration, residents are reminded that the last day to register to vote or make changes to their voter registration records is swiftly approaching. Voter registration must be completed by Tuesday, February 18, 2025, to ensure eligibility for the upcoming election. Advance voting will commence shortly thereafter, taking place at the Chattooga County Registrars Office located at 10017 Commerce Street in Summerville.
Voting will begin on Monday, February 24, 2025, and will run until Friday, March 14, 2025. Polling hours are set for Mondays through Fridays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with special Saturday voting available on March 1 and 8, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
