The Live Healthy Chattooga County Coalition is hosting its First Annual Health Fair on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 8 AM to 12 PM at the Chattooga County Agricultural Center. This event will allow community members to take charge of their health and connect with over 30 local vendors offering important health services and information.

The Health Fair will provide FREE health screenings, including cholesterol and glucose checks, blood pressure and BMI checks, HIV testing, prostate cancer and colorectal cancer screenings, hands-on CPR training, and dental screenings. The Atrium Health Mobile Mammography Unit will also be available for breast cancer screenings, but appointments are necessary; call 706-509-6840, Option 1 to schedule.

Allison Agnew, the Health Fair Coordinator, emphasized the importance of early detection for cancer prevention and treatment. The event aims to provide vital resources and encourage residents to make their health a priority.

The event is open to the public and is a great opportunity to learn about local wellness resources and meet fellow community members dedicated to health improvement. For more details or to ask about volunteering or sponsoring, contact Allison Agnew at (706) 978-2211.
