Twenty-six bright young minds from Chattooga County’s elementary and middle schools showcased their talents at the Cloverleaf Project Achievement event on February 1, 2025.

Hosted by Northwest District 4-H at Georgia Highlands College in Rome, Georgia, the competition saw students from across the county demonstrating exceptional public speaking and project presentation skills. Students competed for top honors, with several earning recognition for their outstanding performances. First-place winners include Presley Aycock, Asher Mills, Annalise Troyer, and Lorelai Hinton, all from Trion Elementary School. (See full list of winners below). “We are incredibly proud of these students for their dedication and hard work,” said Chattooga County 4-H Agent Amy Anderson. “They faced the challenge of public speaking, a fear that even many adults struggle with, and did so with confidence and grace. These accomplishments are a testament to their growth and commitment to excellence.” The 4-H program aims to empower young people through hands-on learning, fostering leadership, communication, and critical thinking abilities. The organization extends its gratitude to the families, teachers, and community members who supported the students in their endeavors.
