
The Trion High School Literary Team showed great skill and commitment at the District Literary Meet in Carrollton on March 8th, winning an impressive 3rd place overall and securing a spot in the State competition for one student. The team excelled in various literary and performing arts categories, with several students receiving top honors.
Cami Connell won 1st place in Personal Essay and will advance to the State meet. Other notable achievements include Joce Mitchell, Abbie Stephens, Emmie Groce, and Ashlin Abee, all earning 2nd place in their categories, alongside Sarah McCauley & Addison Lively (Duo) and a trio including McCauley, Lively, and Connell. Rebecca Mendoza placed 4th in Girls Solo. The Literary event is recognized by the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) and encompasses multiple categories.
The success of the Trion Literary Team reflects their hard work, dedication, and the support from their coaches and school community. The team wishes Cami Connell the best in her preparations for the State meet.
