A delegation of talented students from Trion High School made a strong showing at the National Beta State Convention this March, returning home with well-deserved recognition in multiple academic and artistic categories. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence resulted in outstanding performances across a range of competitions.

Among the highlights, Jesse Blankenship secured an impressive 2nd place finish in the High School Language Arts competition, showcasing a strong command of literature and writing prowess. Trion High School’s artistic talents were also on display, with Emmie Groce representing the school in the arts category and Eva Kalnay competing in poetry, demonstrating both creativity and refined literary skills. In addition to artistic achievements, Trion students proved their academic mettle in core subject areas. Callie Brown put her scientific knowledge to the test in the science competition, while Ashlin Abee demonstrated her expertise in history. The school’s quiz bowl team, comprised of Callie Brown, Cami Connell, Jesse Blankenship, and Melvin Ramirez, showcased their teamwork and quick thinking against formidable opponents.
