Georgia Northwestern Technical College (GNTC) and Southern Adventist University have formed a partnership that allows GNTC students to enroll in Southern Adventist University’s online Adult Degree Completion (ADC) program.
This five-year agreement, effective March 1, 2025, enables GNTC students without a prior four-year degree to earn a bachelor’s degree online in fields like Business Management and Nursing RN to BSN in 18 to 24 months, depending on transferred credits.
GNTC president Dr. Heidi Popham expressed that this partnership expands educational opportunities and provides a clear transfer pathway for graduates. Southern Adventist University president Dr. Ken Shaw emphasized that this program benefits independent students who wish to complete their degree while working.
The fully online ADC program offers flexible learning for adult learners, requiring at least 24 college credits, a minimum 2. 0 GPA, and age criteria. The Nursing RN to BSN program has different requirements. Students can also earn credits from prior work and learning experiences. More information is available at southern.edu/adc.
GNTC students nearing completion of associate degrees will receive a 10 percent discount on admission. Annual ADC Open Houses will be held at GNTC to share more information about the program.
