Get ready for some hands-on science fun! The Chattooga Library is partnering with the Georgia Youth Science & Technology Center (GYSTC) to host a captivating science presentation on Tuesday, July 15th at 2:00 PM.
This exciting event promises to spark curiosity and ignite a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in attendees of all ages. Experts from GYSTC will lead interactive activities related to the library’s summer reading theme, offering a unique and engaging learning experience.
The Georgia Youth Science & Technology Center, founded in 1989, is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing interest in STEM fields, particularly among underserved students, teachers, and parents in Georgia. Based at Kennesaw State University, GYSTC boasts nine regional centers and programs throughout the state, managed by experienced science educators.
“We are thrilled to welcome GYSTC to the Chattooga Library,” said a library representative. “This presentation offers a fantastic opportunity for our community to engage with science in a fun and interactive way. We encourage everyone to come out and discover the wonders of STEM!”
The presentation is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome to participate.
