A free, co-educational youth football camp for ages 5-11 is set to kick off  July 8th, at Little Bighorn Stadium in Chattooga. The three-day camp, running through July 10th, offers young athletes the opportunity to learn football fundamentals from Chattooga High School players and coaches.

The camp is open to both boys and girls in the specified age group, emphasizing inclusivity in sports. There is no admission fee, making it an accessible opportunity for all interested families. Sessions will run each evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., providing a convenient after-work or after-school activity.

Participants will receive expert instruction on the fundamentals of football, guided by current Chattooga High School Football players and their coaching staff. The curriculum is designed as a scaled-down version of the typical drills performed by the high school athletes, ensuring age-appropriate and safe learning experiences while still providing a taste of competitive football preparation.

This initiative aims to foster a love for the sport and develop foundational skills among Chattooga’s youngest residents. Parents are encouraged to bring their aspiring football stars to Little Bighorn Stadium for what promises to be an engaging and educational three days of gridiron action.
