The Chattooga County Republican Party convened on Tuesday of this week to proudly announce and honor its 2025 scholarship recipients, Zayden Cook and Brystal Bowman, recognizing their academic achievements and future endeavors.

Zayden Cook, one of the distinguished recipients, was unable to attend the recent meeting. He had to report early to Murray State University, where he has secured a football scholarship. Cook was presented with his scholarship earlier, during the week of July 4th, when he was home. The Chattooga County Republican Party extended its well wishes and expressed anticipation for his continued success both on the football field and in the classroom.

Brystal Bowman, the other honoree, is set to embark on her collegiate journey at Berry College. She will be pursuing a nursing career, demonstrating a commitment to serving others in the healthcare field.

The scholarships underscore the Chattooga County Republican Party’s commitment to supporting local youth in their pursuit of higher education and professional careers.
