High school football season is just around the corner for fans of Trion High School and Chattooga High School, with both schools set to kick off their 2025 campaigns with scrimmage games within the next two weeks. Schedules have been released, promising an exciting autumn of Friday night lights as local teams prepare for another competitive year on the gridiron.

The Trion Bulldogs will get an early start to their pre-season, with a scrimmage game against Heard County slated for August 8th. Their regular season officially begins two weeks later, on August 22nd, when they host Dade County for their highly anticipated home opener. The Bulldogs’ 2025 schedule features a mix of familiar rivals and challenging matchups, aiming to build momentum early in the season.

Meanwhile, the Chattooga Indians are also preparing to launch their 2025 season. Their first contest will be an away game at LaFayette on August 15th, followed by another road game against Coahulla Creek on August 22nd. The Indians will look to establish strong momentum before their first home game in September.
