
The Chattooga County Agricultural Fair is all set to take place from August 21-24, 2025, at 40 Middle School Road in Summerville, Georgia. The four-day event promises a fun-filled experience for the entire family, featuring a variety of rides, food, live entertainment, and agricultural exhibits.
The fair will kick off with the 4-H and FFA Junior Market Goat Show on Thursday, August 21st, at 5:30 PM. Participants and visitors can find the rules and entry forms for the show on the fair’s website.
On Friday, August 22nd, at 5:30 PM, the fair will host the 4-H and FFA Junior Market Lamb Show. Participants can access the rules and entry forms for this event on the website as well.
Saturday, August 23rd, will be a busy day at the fair, with two major events. The 4-H and FFA Junior Beef Show will commence at 1:00 PM, followed by the 4-H and FFA Poultry Show and Auction, starting at 6:30 PM. The Poultry Project, which began in April 2025, will showcase Black Star and Red Star breeds, known for their excellent light brown egg production. Students participating in the project will receive awards for their selected birds, and their chickens will be auctioned off at 7:00 PM, with all proceeds going to the student.
The Chattooga County Fair will also feature a variety of other activities, including rides provided by Peachtree Rides, magic shows, a Jurassic Kingdom Dinosaur Show, daily live music, a Farm Bureau Demonstration Room with various demonstrations, and arts, photography, needlework, and food preservation exhibits.
