Habitat for Humanity – Coosa Valley will host its 41st Annual Meeting on Monday, August 25, at 6 PM at the Harvest Moon Café. The event will serve as a celebration of the remarkable achievements over the past year and an opportunity to honor the invaluable contributions of its donors, sponsors, and dedicated volunteers. The annual gathering provides the local affiliate with a chance to reflect on the strides made in empowering families through homeownership across Chattooga, Floyd, and Polk Counties. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly about the impact of the organization’s work and the critical role played by community support.

“This annual meeting is more than just a formal gathering; it’s our chance to truly ‘brag’ on the incredible people who make Habitat for Humanity – Coosa Valley’s mission possible,” said a representative for the organization. “From our generous financial supporters to the tireless volunteers who swing hammers, every single person contributes to building stability and hope for families in our communities.”

Habitat for Humanity – Coosa Valley has been a cornerstone in local community development since its inception in 1984. By providing safe, affordable housing, the non-profit organization helps families build equity, achieve independence, and create successes that resonate for generations to come.

All funding for Habitat for Humanity – Coosa Valley is raised locally through private donations and the proceeds from the Habitat ReStore, located at 504 East First Ave. The ReStore offers discounted new and used building materials, furniture, and home goods, with all sales directly supporting Habitat’s home-building efforts.
