Summerville Main Street, in collaboration with the City of Summerville, will host two upcoming listening sessions this August, inviting downtown business and property owners to provide crucial input on the redesign and restriping of parking spaces following recent repaving efforts.

These sessions offer a vital opportunity for stakeholders to voice their needs and considerations regarding the new parking layout. The goal is to gather direct feedback to ensure the restriping plan best serves the community’s needs, enhancing accessibility and flow for businesses and their patrons.

Officials are particularly interested in hearing about specific requirements for parking space design, layout preferences, and any special considerations unique to individual properties or businesses that may need to be accommodated.

Both listening sessions will be held at the historic Summerville Depot on the following dates and times:

  • Wednesday, August 20th: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
  • Wednesday, August 27th: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Business and property owners are strongly encouraged to attend one of the two sessions to contribute their invaluable perspectives and help shape the future of downtown Summerville’s parking infrastructure.
