The 2025 Chattooga County Agricultural Fair is kicking off today.  The fair takes place off Highway 100 in Summerville. The fair, which runs through Sunday, promises a fun-filled weekend for visitors of all ages, with a wide array of attractions, concerts, and events, all included with gate admission.

The Chattooga County Agricultural Fair is known for showcasing the talents and hard work of the county’s 4-H and FFA students, who will be participating in livestock exhibitions throughout the weekend. Today, the 4-H and FFA Junior Market Goat Show will take place at 5:30 PM, followed by more livestock events over the next few days.

In response to the growing number of fair goers, organizers have secured a new parking site, situated approximately 100 yards farther down Highway 100 from the previous entrance near Summerville Middle School. The former entrance at Summerville Middle School will now be exclusively designated for livestock participants, fair volunteers, and emergency personnel. The new parking site offers a one-way traffic flow design, ensuring a smooth and efficient parking experience for visitors. Visitors will enter directly from Highway 100 and exit via Laser Lane, a small dirt road that connects to the Summerville Industrial Park, located behind Mohawk Industries.

Special admission rates have been announced for various groups. Thursday is “Student Night,” with free gate admission for students, while adults can enter for just $5. Friday is “Military Night,” with free admission for active or retired military personnel presenting a valid military ID.

Carnival rides will be available for an additional cost, with armband pricing set at $25 on Thursday, $30 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Visitors can enjoy thrilling rides, games, and various food vendors, making the Chattooga County Agricultural Fair a must-visit event for the entire family.

The fair will be open from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Thursday, 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Friday, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Saturday, and 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Sunday.
