
An Armuchee man is facing a felony aggravated assault charge following his arrest at his Warren Road apartment on Friday of last week. Todd William James II, 20, is accused of slamming and choking a woman, and threatening to kill her during the alleged domestic incident.
According to records from the Floyd County Jail, James was taken into custody on Friday. In addition to the felony aggravated assault charge, he is also facing charges of terroristic threats and acts, and battery.
Jail records indicate that during the alleged altercation, James reportedly slammed the victim and choked her, specifically telling her he intended to kill her.
James was booked into Floyd County Jail. No further details regarding the victim’s condition or the circumstances leading up to the incident have been released at this time.
