The Town of Trion’s annual Halloween Walk will now take place on its traditional date, Friday, October 31st, 2025. The change comes after the Trion High School football game, which had previously forced a date shift for the popular community event, was rescheduled.

Initially, the Trion Police Department had announced that the Halloween Walk would be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, to accommodate a football game scheduled for that weekend. However, the high school football game has since been moved to Thursday, October 30th, 2025.

In response to this rescheduling, Trion Police issued a revised announcement yesterday, confirming the Halloween Walk’s return to its rightful spooky date.

“Due to the Trion home football game being rescheduled to Thursday, October 30th, the Town of Trion Annual Halloween Walk will be held on Halloween, Friday, October 31st,” the announcement stated.

The event is set to conclude with a 9:00 PM curfew. Organizers are urging participants to be mindful and respectful of residents in the vicinity who may not be participating in the Halloween Walk festivities.

For the safety of all attendees young and old, a reminder has been issued to cross the street exclusively at the designated crosswalk located in front of the football field. This measure is being implemented to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
