The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested and charged a Union Point man following allegations that he assaulted several minors under his supervision as a youth football coach.
According to the GBI, Darius Terrell Robinson, 34, of Union Point, Georgia, has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and one count of Simple Battery.
On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at around 12:30 p.m., the Greensboro Police Department requested the GBI’s assistance in an investigation involving reports that Robinson had been hitting and choking several minors who played football for him between September and November 2025.
Robinson was taken into custody and booked into the Greene County Jail.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact the GBI Regional Investigative Office in Milledgeville at 478-445-4173. Once the investigation is complete, officials say the case file will be turned over to the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
