AdventHealth Redmond has announced the appointment of Hudson Sutton as the hospital’s new executive director of operations.

A Rome native, Sutton brings experience leading teams, improving access to care, and supporting growth across complex clinical environments. Hospital leaders say he is known for a strategic, collaborative leadership style and a focus on whole-person care.

“Hudson has demonstrated a remarkable ability to lead teams, expand services and support strategic growth,” said Ben Carpenter, chief operating officer of AdventHealth Redmond. “We’re confident his leadership will help our team members advance our mission and ultimately enhance the experience of every patient who comes through our doors.”

Sutton most recently served as Program Director of Operations at AdventHealth Hendersonville, where he helped lead major expansion initiatives and supported the launch of multiple orthopedic clinics and an outpatient surgery center. He began his career as an Administrative Resident in AdventHealth’s Southeast Region and holds an MBA in Managing for Sustainability from the University of Colorado Denver.

“Returning home to Rome and having the opportunity to serve this community is incredibly meaningful,” Sutton said. “I’m grateful to join the team at AdventHealth Redmond and excited to help advance the work already being done to improve health and wellness in our region.”

Outside of work, Sutton enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, including golfing, hiking, and biking.
