Runners and walkers are invited to take part in the Fighting Hunger ~ Feeding Hope 5K on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Summerville. The event benefits the Community Resource Center of Chattooga County, supporting local families through food assistance and other resources.

The event will be held at the Community Resource Center of Chattooga County, located at 50 Eleanor Ave., Suite A, Summerville, and includes several ways to participate: a 5K, a 1 Mile Fun Run, and a “Ghost Runner” option for those who want to support the cause without attending in person.

Race day begins with the 5K at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 1 Mile Fun Run at 8:05 a.m. Online registration is open through March 10, 2026. Listed entry fees are $30 for the 5K, $25 for the 1 mile, and $20 for Ghost Runner.

Organizers say proceeds help the Community Resource Center continue its work assisting those in need across Chattooga County.
