The District Attorney’s Office for the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit is accepting applications for a circuit-paid Assistant District Attorney position.

Salary will be based on the State of Georgia pay scale and will include benefits through the Employees’ Retirement System of Georgia.

Applicants must be members in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia or members in good standing with another state bar who are eligible for reciprocal admission to the State Bar of Georgia. Candidates must also be admitted to practice before the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals.

All applicants are subject to a background investigation. Candidates selected for employment will be required to complete fingerprinting, a criminal history check, a motor vehicle driving history check and a pre-employment drug screening. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of each requirement.

The position is also subject to employment verification through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify system.
