Stephens, a concierge team member at AdventHealth Redmond, was nominated for the recognition by a fellow team member who highlighted his willingness to go above and beyond in helping others.

According to AdventHealth Redmond, Stephens frequently steps in wherever assistance is needed and has made a lasting impression on his coworkers since his first days at the hospital.

Team members describe Stephens as someone who is always smiling, eager to help and intentional about developing meaningful relationships with the people he encounters.

His nominator also said Stephens’ genuine love for his work is evident through the care, kindness and grace he demonstrates in his daily interactions with patients, visitors and coworkers.

The Sunflower Award recognizes team members for exceptional service and the positive impact they make on the hospital experience. AdventHealth Redmond said Stephens’ uplifting spirit and dedication to creating a welcoming environment embody the qualities celebrated through the award.
