The City of Summerville is getting closer to opening bids for planned restroom renovations at the Summerville Recreation Department.

The city is seeking sealed bids for renovation of the existing boys’ and girls’ restroom and changing room facilities at the Recreation Department, located at 220 Highway 100 in Summerville.

City officials announced this week that a second addendum has been issued for the project. The latest addendum, revised September 3, provides answers to additional questions submitted concerning the work. An earlier addendum was issued August 26.

Sealed bids will be accepted at Summerville City Hall, 120 Georgia Avenue, until 2 PM Wednesday, September 9. Bids will be opened publicly at that time in the City Hall Council Room.

The project is listed as RFB-2026-137, Summerville Rec Restroom Renovation. Submitted bids must remain valid for 60 days.
