Georgia voters will head to the polls tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3, for the 2026 General Election, with races for governor, the United States Senate, Congress and numerous state and local offices on the ballot.

Polls across Chattooga County and the rest of Georgia will open at 7 AM and close at 7 PM. Voters who are in line by 7 PM will still be allowed to cast their ballots.

The early voting period ended Friday, October 30, meaning voters who have not already cast a ballot will need to visit their assigned Election Day polling location.

Georgia voters will select a governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, attorney general and other statewide officials. Congressional and state legislative races are also on the ballot, along with judicial contests and proposed constitutional amendments.

Voters are reminded to bring an acceptable form of photo identification when going to the polls.

Anyone uncertain about their assigned polling location can visit the Georgia Secretary of State’s My Voter Page at mvp.sos.ga.gov.

Voters who received absentee ballots must make sure their completed ballots reach their county elections office no later than 7 PM Tuesday. Ballots arriving after that deadline will not be counted simply because they were postmarked by Election Day.

Election officials encourage voters to review their sample ballots and confirm their polling locations before heading out Tuesday.
