A 28-year-old Armuchee man died in a one-vehicle wreck on Floyd Springs Road late Sunday night, according to Floyd County police spokesman Jerome Poole.

Joseph Allen Norris, 28, of 73 Gazelle Dew Road, hit a culvert and lost control of his 2003 Honda Civic. 

The vehicle went down an embankment and Norris, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the car. 

He was pronounced dead shortly after midnight on Monday.
