The Summerville City Council will hold its regular monthly meeting Monday, November 9, at 5 PM at Summerville City Hall.
Mayor Rickey Hughes and members of the City Council are scheduled to meet for their November session, continuing the city’s work on municipal operations, infrastructure improvements and other matters affecting Summerville residents.
At the council’s October meeting, members considered several significant infrastructure and financial matters, including emergency repairs to natural gas facilities along Butler Dairy Road, federal Community Development Block Grant funding and the purchase of vehicles for the city’s Water and Street Departments.
The October agenda also included agreements associated with grant-funded projects, work at the city’s Wastewater Treatment Plant and other municipal business.
The November meeting will provide another opportunity for council members to address city business and for residents to participate in local government.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5 PM Monday at Summerville City Hall on Georgia Avenue. The meeting is open to the public.
