The Summerville Depot will be a busy place today as the annual Community Art Show gets underway and the final Steam Into Summerville train of the 2026 season arrives in town.

The Community Art Show and Sale, sponsored by Summerville Main Street, is taking place today from 10 AM until 3 PM and continues Sunday from 11 AM until 3 PM.

The two-day event features artwork from both youth and adult artists, including creative works from local school art classes and individual artists throughout the community. Visitors can admire the talent of local artists and purchase selected pieces to take home.

Food and craft vendors will also be on hand, providing visitors with an opportunity to enjoy refreshments, shop and support local creativity.

Families are encouraged to bring their children, with free miniature train rides available for young visitors.

Adding to Saturday’s activities, the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum’s Steam Engine Passenger Train is scheduled to arrive at the Summerville Depot for its final visit of the 2026 Steam Into Summerville Railroad Days season.

The train will make its final stop in Summerville today, bringing another season of railroad excursions to a close.

The Community Art Show and Sale continues Sunday, giving residents another opportunity to enjoy local artwork and support area artists.
