Rumors have been circulating that a local manufacturing facility will be adding a sift. However that's just a rumor and not true, according to Jeffrey Richardson Administrative Manager of Showa Best Glove Inc. in Menlo.

Richardson says that due to attrition and a little "ramp up" in production, 11 people have been hired in the past week or so, which is more than the plant has hired in the past year. He says things are going well for the plant.
