Floyd County police are asking for the public's help in locating an 18-year-old girl who has been missing since the weekend.

Griffen Boyd was last seen May 26 at her Woodsong Road home in Rome. Her bicycle was found the next day at her grandmother's house in Cartersville along with a note stating she was going to St. Augustine, according to Floyd County police detective Ojilvia Lom.

Lom said police do not suspect foul play but are concerned because the teen takes medication daily. She  is described as being 5 feet 3 inches tall, 130 pounds, with a short haircut.

She was wearing a ball cap with a white skull and gray denim pants, Lom said. The teen is believed to have her purse and phone with her, but it appears the phone has been disconnected. She may walk with a limp, Lom said.

Anyone with any information should contact the police department at 706-235-7766.
