In a called meeting Thursday night, the Summerville City Council rejected all of the bids it received for it's upcoming Lyerly/Mohawk Water Project.  The problem — the lowest bid was about $198,000 over the city's current budget. In all 5  bids were received ranging from $931,000  to  $1,183,000.  According to City Manager Russell Thompson the city will now revise the scope of the project making it more affordable.  Thompson said the new bids should come in around August 2nd.
