A summer ending tradition in Walker County continues this year — the annual Labor Day Weekend Rodeo. It began decades ago with the annual Western Week Observance and was sponsored by the LaFayette Jaycees. This year's rodeo will be held at the Cove arena off Hog Jowl Road. The Kensington Rodeo is Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m.
