Emergency crews were called to the scene of this structure fire Tuesday morning located on Hammond Street in Lyerly.  This picture was made around 8:30 this morning.  AM 1180 will have more information on the fire as it becomes available.

UPDATE

Fire departments were dispatched to Lyerly this morning and arrived on the scene to find an older home that had been converted into apartments fully engulfed in flames.  No one is believed to have been in the building at the time of the fire.  The house was a total loss.  Summerville, Lyerly, Chattoogaville and Hays Correctional Fire Departments responded to the scene around 8:15 this morning.

A fire was reported around 2:39 AM this morning on Back Berryton Road.  The cause of the fire is believed to have been a hot water heater; there was no major damage reported to the home.

Also, there was a fire on Farmersville Road early this morning.  That fire is believed to have been caused by a faulty ceiling fan.  No major damage was reported.
