Summerville's Police Chief and new Public Service Director had a run in with a deer Tuesday morning. According to the report by the Chattooga County Sheriff's Department, Police Chief Stan Mosley was traveling north on Whaley Road at about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday when a deer ran into the path of the city owned 2004 Ford Expedition he was driving. The vehicle received damage to the grill but was drivable, according to the report. Mosley was not injured in the accident.
