A Summerville woman was in jail Monday after falsely reporting that she was kidnapped. According to Inv. Kandy Dodd with the Chattooga County Sheriff's Department, 52-year-old Lisa Fiolich reported on Sunday that she was kidnapped, taken to Gilmer County before being returned to Chattooga County by her alleged assailant.

Fiolich said she had been getting texts, from someone she knew but had never physically met, since May of this year and that person said he was "coming to get her." She said the man showed up Saturday night. She said she saw his vehicle drive by her home about 10 p.m. that night and she first ran to a neighbor's house and the neighbor was not home. She then said she went to the parking lot of the old Quik's store where the man found her and forced her to get into the car by threatening her with bodily harm, The woman's 15-year-old son was with her and he also got into the vehicle.

Fiolich said the man drove to Gilmer County where he repeatedly raped her. Dodd said she reviewed video tape of the area from the store parking lot and it shows Fiolich and her son walking from James Street to the store parking lot and voluntarily getting in to the truck with the man. Also phone records show phone contact between the two since May though Fiiolich said she never texted the man back. The woman also told Dodd that as soon as she entered the vehicle the man immediately took her phone. However, Dodd says phone records indicate that Fiolich used her phone a good bit from the time she entered the vehicle and was returned to the store parking lot on Sunday where her husband was waiting for her.

Fiolich has been charged with False Report of a Crime and Cruelty to Children. Gilmer County detectives were also involved in the investigation.
