Today is a federal holiday, "Columbus Day."  Banks and post offices will be closed today in observance of the holiday.  County governmental offices will be open on their regular schedule.  Chattooga County Schools are on a four day schedule and are closed every Monday. County schools are on fall break this week and Trion City Schools are on fall break as well.
