Two Trion High School students arrested early Monday morning for underage consumption and/or possession of alcohol.

One of those students is a juvenile and involved in the Trion athletics program. We asked officials with Trion Schools if that student would be eligible to continue involvement in the sports program.

According to Principal Brian Edge, "school officials are not at liberty to discuss any school issue with the media, or anyone else, regardless of whether the student is a juvenile or not."
